Does Your Estate Plan Need an Update?

So you already have an estate plan in place, that’s good.  In the majority of
cases, an estate plan will need to be updated over the course of a person’s
lifetime.  It’s time for an update if your estate plan no longer meets your
needs or expresses your wishes accurately.
Here are some common reasons for updating your plan:

  •  There has been a birth, death, or marriage of a beneficiary.
  • Your children grow up and are now able to manage your healthcare
    and estate matters.
  • You have relocated to a new state.
  • There have been changes in financial circumstances.
  • There have been changes in the law.
  • You have experienced a separation, divorce, or remarriage.
